Denplan has been part of the dental industry for over 25 years and has been an option at The Tuddenham Road Dental Surgery in Ipswich since 1995. Denplan strongly promote preventative dentistry and the dental plans they arrange are designed to help keep you dentally fit with visits to the practice as often as recommended.

Denplan is the industry leader in dental payment schemes, providing patients nationwide with the option of spreading routine dental care cost with predictable monthly payments. Here at the Tuddenham Road Dental Surgery we offer two of Denplan’s most popular schemes Denplan Care and Denplan Essentials.
Denplan Care
This is the most comprehensive plan helping to avoid any unexpected bills resulting from your dental treatment. This plan will cover your regular check-ups and hygiene visits with your dental team, as well as any restorative treatment you may need. Denplan Care also includes worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover. The main exclusions are laboratory fees, implants, orthodontics and elective cosmetic treatment.
Denplan Essentials
This plan is the easy budget plan that covers you for the foundation of your dental care, helping to stop problems before they start. This plan covers you for regular check-ups, hygienist visits and routine x-rays when indicated. Denplan Essentials includes worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover. Members also benefit from a complimentary 10% discount off the standard private fees for treatment that is clinically indicated to insure dental health.
As a Denplan patient your contract will be with your chosen dentist.
The supplementary insurance is between the member and Denplan.

*Not every patient requires visits with the hygienist. If the Dentist thinks a hygiene visit is needed this will be prescribed.

Family Group Discount
If one direct debit covers several members of the same family, discounts of 5% per additional member up to 15% will be applied to the whole group.
Joining a Denplan Scheme
To join Denplan Care you require an assessment with the dentist to ascertain which payment group you will fall into and to confirm that you are dentally fit before joining the scheme. The simple form can then be completed with all the relevant information and sent to Denplan. Each new member receives a welcome pack from Denplan; this will contain your membership card.
To join Denplan Essentials, an assessment is not required and you do not need to be dentally fit. Paper work must be completed and sent to Denplan. If you wish to join Denplan Essentials you need to attend the surgery for an initial private check-up appointment. Denplan Essentials members will also receive a welcome pack. The cost of any needed treatment will also be reduced by the complimentary 10% off the normal private fee.
